Description : The Hate Crime Champion/Volunteer(s) will be working in partnership with the Lambeth Hate Crime Coordinator to raise awareness of hate crime and services available to residents, community and voluntary groups. This will consist of community engagement/outreach - holding hate crime awareness sessions at community groups, attending local events and providing hate crime resources in the form of leaflets, forms etc via stalls. It will also be the role of the champion/volunteer to encourage communities to report hate crimes and report back on issues/concerns for communities around this.
Skills needed: Communication skills (oral and verbal), Presentation skills, Basic IT and Microsoft PowerPoint, Inter-personal skills.
