Doing it

Every year since 2013, FTiL has held an Inter Faith Walk in September, following a variety of routes in the Borough, and visiting 5 or 6 centres along the way. The coronavirus restrictions ruled out any walk in September 2020.

One of the important aims of the Inter Faith Walks has been to provide opportunities for learning about the centres that are visited and thus to help reduce prejudice and negative stereotypes.

To further this aim this year, FTiL Chair Saleha Jaffer invited member organisations and associate organisations to prepare short messages about themselves at this point in time. At the suggestion of Rabbi Nathan Godleman, the messages were delivered to camera one by one in a continuous Zoom recording.
